Shameless Coaching Statement of Ethics

• We prioritize our clients’ holistic wellbeing.

• As a general rule, we do not initiate the direction of clients’ work. We allow them to choose where they want to go.

• Our objective is to support the deepening of healthy intimacy in our clients’ relationship and we continue to hold each individual’s wellbeing as the highest priority.

• Our intention is to work with clients in one container, one time. We refer back to our ethic around our clients’ holistic wellbeing if a client’s needs extend beyond a container we’ve set.

• We only work with clients who are in therapy, have done personal development work, and have a strong sense of self.

• We do not organize groups or communities of former clients.

• The intimacy lab containers we are present for have space for erotic energy, but not for sex acts involving any genital contact. (That happens on your Playdates behind closed doors.)

• We will never enter into a sexual relationship with clients who hire Shameless Coaching.

• We acknowledge the access to privilege and power that our white, cisgender, middle class Global North backgrounds have afforded us. We build in a 10% wealth redistribution mechanism into all of our profits and we welcome conversations about how we can deepen our commitment to building a more just world.

• We hold each other accountable for maintaining the ethics principles we’ve laid out here.

• We are committed to noticing, examining, and working through any activation we notice in ourselves or each other to ensure our best, highest selves are in the room with our clients.

• We prioritize responding to feedback from our clients. We invite feedback from our clients in real time and we create space for repair if it’s ever needed. We also offer clients ways to provide anonymous feedback.

• We pay our staff well.
